#Flashlore 28

“It is lucky to say ‘Hares, Hares’ aloud as you go to bed on the last day of the month, and to say ‘Rabbits, Rabbits’ as soon as you awaken the following morning.”

According to Kightly in The Perpetual Almanack of Folklore, there is more to the superstition we had already shared with you on #Flashlore 12… In order to get your good luck when saying ‘rabbit, rabbit, rabbit’ on the first day of each month, you will need to say ‘hares, hares, hares’ before going to bed the previous night!
